August 16, 2008... the day the first UTC Demolition Derby was held. You came from all over Utah just to witness the action we had to offer. You want a show? We will give you a show. We will give you the best show you've seen in all of Utah, and much more to come. Thank you for being such a big part in our success. We only put this show on for you.

Tickets were originally sold at Macey's before we introduced the online ticket system.

Seat assignments weren't introduced until 2010.

Before the UTC Demolition Derby was the great success it is today, selling it's 8,000 ticket capacity in just four hours, we needed to get the word out about it. We were in parades, we were in stores, and we were online.

Our entry spots (40) were filled by the end of July 2008 when starting our search for drivers in the beginning of May 2008.

After UTC Demolition Derby 2011, the teardown process began of the old arena, and construction began. Spanish Fork City contributed $1 million, as well as Utah County. But the best part is an anonymous donor contributed $3 million to the project. The donor made the project possible, making the total budget $5 million. The project was completed before the start of the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days, the first time the new arena was used. The new Spanish Fork arena is considered the best spectator seating in the state of Utah for rodeos and demolition derbies.

In April 2018, UTC operators commissioned a graphic designer Collin House to re-brand and give the Utah County Demolition Derby a fresh new look. So began the new era of UTC with a new logo and social media ads, development of a new website and registration systems began. The new website debuted on June 1st 2018 the same time tickets went on sale for the season. All this jump started the 2018 season with driver registrations filling up in a record time and growth with our community on social media. We are looking forward to this new era of UTC and being an industry standard when it comes to destroying cars and having a blast doing it!
